Media Lab

Summer 2026

The world is on fire… I said, the world is on fire!

So, what are we going to do about it?

The Project

  • Each student will create their own PSA based on their own individual voice and discernment of importance for varying social issues.

  • A PSA, or Public Service Annoucement is a short-form visual that shares a message intended to change the viewer’s current perspective, feelings, or interest for a specific social issue the creator deemed important.

  • We create PSA’s as a way to give our participates a voice. These short-forrm stories are the perfect deliverable because they require technical skill but most importantly, they require personal feelings formed by personal experiences; and that can only come from within.

Meet the Instructor

  • My unique journey and diverse skill set provide a solid foundation for coaching others seeking personal, professional, or creative growth. By sharing your knowledge, insights, and strategies, I can empower others to overcome challenges and achieve their goals.

  • My name is Brian Few Jr., I have been working in the Audio/Visual industry for 16 years. I have worked with youth in roles as a Counselor, Teacher, Mentor, Tutor, Baby Sitter, you know.

Now, I get to bring both of my passions together, nurturing potential, and telling emotional-packed stories with a camera.

  • “If I could have anything, I’d ask for a camera. Because it’s not just a tool — it’s the instrument that gave me existence…”

My philosophy for developing potential is this, “students learn best when they are trusted to handle real responsibilities, real tools, and given real creative ownership.”
